Active experiences in Sønderjylland

Try Aabenraa’s rail bikes, starting at the old railway station in the city center. You’ll first ride an approximately 5 km route through the beautiful Sønderjylland countryside out to Rise near Rødekro. Bring a picnic and the family along. The rail bikes are rented for two hours at a time and cost DKK 150 per bike.

Gather oysters with Naturcenter Tønnisgård and our knowledgeable nature guides, we go to the oyster banks at Rømø.

Try your hand at indoor bouldering, have an instructor guide you to the top of Jutland's highest climbing wall and surf around with a skateboard or scooter indoors and outdoors - you just have to remember your own equipment.
