Vongshøj is located in Løgumbjerge in Sønderjylland, and is the highest point, of about 50 burial mounds. Here is a 5 meter high tower.

In scenic surroundings, Knivsbjerg provides a gathering place for the German minority.
Historical locations

According to legend, Valdemar Sejr presented the Dannebrog at Kongehøj in Hjelm Skov near Aabenraa after the Battle of Lyndanisse in 1219. A memorial stone was erected there in 1969 to mark the 750th anniversary. Kongehøjskolen in Aabenraa is named after the site.
