Closer than you think

Whether your delegates are travelling from elsewhere in Denmark or from abroad, Sønderjylland is within easy reach by air, road and rail, with ferry connections offering another way to reach Als.

Direct flights connect Sønderborg Airport with Copenhagen, providing access to international flight connections. Billund and Hamburg airports offer further options for delegates travelling from abroad.

The E45 motorway connects Sønderjylland with the rest of Denmark and Germany. Charging points throughout the region also make it easy to travel by electric car.

Rail connections from Hamburg, Copenhagen and Aarhus make Sønderborg accessible by train. Your delegates can use the journey to catch up on work or simply relax before the event.

Travelling from Funen? The ferry from Bøjden to Fynshav takes you directly to Als. You can also travel from Søby on Ærø to Fynshav, making the sea crossing part of the journey.
