If you only have one day to visit Haderslev, there’s no time to waste! To get the most of your visit, follow this guide.

Morning (10.00am - 12.00 Noon)

Start the day with a cup of coffee or brunch at one of the many cafés. If it's Tuesday or Friday, remember the Market at Gravene. The stalls are there until 1.00 pm.

Visit the city’s most popular attraction, Haderslev Cathedral. Then stroll through the old quarter of the city. To make the most of your tour, book a tour guide at VisitHaderslev. If you have time, there are three museums in the old quarter: Ehler’s Collection, Von Oberberg’s House and the Night Watchmen’s Museum

Afternoon (1.00 Noon - 6.00pm)

Set course for Damparken after lunch, or take it aboard the Lake Boat Dorothea. Experience a beautiful nature cruise of 1.5 hours. The tour takes you under the white bridges and past Haderslev Deer Park and Restaurant Damende.

Refuel with coffee and cake, perhaps combined with shopping for ceramics or books? Take the oppurtinity to browse the shops. Don't miss out on a wonderful walk along the north side of the Harbour. Art, architecture, streetfood, a fantastic beach bar and StreetDome await you here.

When you have your car with you, set course for Tørning Mill and the beautiful nature settings, before you continue to the Castle Town Gram. Enjoy a dinner, see the castle garden, maybe there is a concert in the Holstenske Lande? Or drive out to the coast and visit the harbour town of Aarøsund, cozy Hejsager Beach or Sønderballe Beach. An ice cream or a game of mini golf is always a great way to end the day.
