Bring your dog to Aabenraa's forests and plantations
Let your dog loose in Aabenraa's dog forests and parks. In and around Aabenraa you will find both urban and remote nature areas where your four-legged friend can let loose.
Aabenraa's dog forests are partly fenced and partly unfenced. In Lerskov Plantage, for example, you can practise your dog's balance on the balancing equipment, while in Torp Plantage you can take your dog out into the open meadow. See the list of Aabenraa's dog forests below:
Lerskov Plantage Dog forest
Approximately 1.2 hectares of fenced dog forest in gently hilly terrain. The dog forest is frequently used by the local community.
Nørreskov Dog forest
At the northern end of Aabenraa, you will find Nørreskov Dog Forest, where parking for cars is available. The dog forest is not fenced.
Torp Dog forest
Enclosed dog forest offering varied terrain and diverse natural surroundings.
