Blue Flag beaches in Aabenraa
Aabenraa has 11 beaches quality-stamped with the Blue Flag. In addition to good water quality, the beaches are well-maintained and have access to toilet facilities.

Kollund Strand
Child friendly beach in Kollund. The beach has the Blue Flag, which means that the water quality is top notch.

Try Put and take in one of Uge Lystfiskeri Hytter og Camping's three lakes.

Varnæsvig Beach
Varnæsvig beach is located on the south side of Aabenraa Fjord, and on the west side of Varnæshoved. The 300 meters long beach has a 150 meters long bathing jetty.

Sønderstrand, Aabenraa
Sønderstrand is one of the best bathing beaches in the area and has been awarded the Blue Flag.

Skarrev Strand, Løjt Land
The beach at Skarrev is located on the southern side of Løjt Land, right by the Aabenraa Fjord.

Loddenhøj Strand, Løjt Land
Loddenhøj beach is a small beach at approx. 1 km and has a small habour. Tiny Seaside with their tiny houses is located next to the beach and they have a kiosk and a small playground.

Løjt Holiday Center Beach
The beach is an extension to Løjt Holiday Center, and is a Child-friendly sandy beach. You can park at Løjt Holiday Center (600 meters from the beach) or at the parking lot (180 meters from the beach).

Sandskær Beach
The beach is located next to Sandskær Strandcamping. There is a toilet and a kiosk at the campsite. On the beach there is a playground with activities for the youngest and the oldest child.

Genner Beach
Genner Beach is a child-friendly sandy beach located in Genner Bugt The beach has been awarded the Blue Flag (Blå Flag), which means the water quality is excellent when the flag is displayed.
