Campfire hut for everyone, with shelters - Kær Vestermark

Fire pit, outdoor kitchen and overnight stays

The campfire hut has two shelters, each sleeping four to five people. There is also a fire pit and an outdoor kitchen with a pizza oven and stove. Please bring your own pots and pans.

Both shelters have rotating walls and are designed for people with disabilities. The campfire hut also has an integrated rail for a manual hoist and a 220 V power socket for charging an electric wheelchair.

You can reach the campfire hut on foot, by bike or by wheelchair. Parking is available at Støvlen, approximately 450 metres away.

Water, toilets and firewood

Water is available during frost-free periods. There is a composting toilet at the campfire hut, while accessible toilets are available at Støvlen and Naturcenter Sønderborg.

A limited amount of firewood is provided, with deliveries twice a week. You may wish to bring your own firewood.

Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead. The hut is video monitored. 

Booking and price

Both daytime visits and overnight stays must be booked in advance.

Price: DKK 200–300.
