Blomster Bygger Broer - formidlingstrappen i Aabenraa

From Maj 2022 you will find the Formidlingstrappe (Story Telling Staircase) in extension to the Genforeningspark (Reunion Park) at Folkehjem, Aabenraa.

Here you will be able to take a break on the staircase, which will be built in wood, and learn about the Danish nature. The flower boxes will be full of wild, plants native to the borderland, which you can learn more about on the information boards. There will also be build habitats for larvae, insects, and birds, which can also be found in the borderland landscape.

The Formidlingstrappe is part of the “Blomster Bygger Broer” (Flowers build bridges) project, that combines the German tradition of “Gartenschau” with Danish “active tourism”. You can also find these gardens in Gråsten and Flensburg.
