You will find art everywhere in Sønderborg Municipality, whether it's artworks in urban spaces or galleries. The town of Augustenborg with Augustiana Kunsthal and Kunstpark is particularly worth a visit.
Among our artists you will also find famous names, such as Olafur Eliasson and HRH Prince Henrik, who created the beautiful bronze statue in Gråsten - Dronningen (The Queen.
Every year, the number of artworks in Sønderborg Municipality increases, and not just in the town of Sønderborg itself. During the annual WoodSculpture, the 10 artists each create their own work from a tree trunk and these sculptures contribute to the beautification of the villages.
