Toftlund Christmas Village 2026 – Manufakturen

Experience the magic of Christmas in Toftlund, where twinkling lights, charming market stalls, live music and the delicious scents of Christmas treats create a festive atmosphere for the whole family.

From 27 November to 19 December, the area around Manufakturen transforms into a cosy Christmas village, where friendly Christmas helpers welcome visitors of all ages.

Explore the charming wooden stalls, enjoy delicious food and drinks, and warm up by the fire with a blanket around your shoulders. Discover the true spirit of Danish Christmas hygge.

Christmas fun for the whole family

Children can enjoy free activities, creative workshops and a small playground close to the cosy seating areas. There will also be opportunities to bake traditional Danish bread on sticks over an open fire – and, of course, Santa Claus will be stopping by!

The local scout group, Toftlund Frie Rovfugle, will be there every day, serving tasty treats. Live music adds to the festive atmosphere every evening.

Special events and dates

• 27 November, 4–9 pm: Grand opening with live music and plenty of Christmas cheer.

• 28 November, 4 pm: Join the fun as Santa Claus is woken up in the Christmas village.

• 5 December, 2 pm: Free theatre performance inside Manufakturen. The Christmas village opens at 3 pm on this day.

• 19 December: Celebrate the end of the Christmas season with traditional roast suckling pig from CL Partyservice.

Museum Sønderjylland will also be visiting with a special exhibition about the local area.

Practical information

Toftlund Christmas Village is an outdoor event, with fire pits and blankets to keep visitors warm and cosy. Indoor creative activities are also available.

The Christmas village opens on 27 and 28 November and continues for three weekends in December, ending on 19 December.
