Lucia procession through Haderslev on 13 December

On 13 December, experience the traditional Lucia procession as singers make their way through the streets of Haderslev, travelling from church to church.

The procession begins at 4:00 PM outside Gl. Haderslev Kirke at Storegade 93 before continuing through the town's pedestrianised shopping street. Participants include Haderslev Domkirkes Pigekor and the children's and youth choirs from Gl. Haderslev Kirke.

Julemusik for alle pengene on 16 December

On Wednesday 16 December, Haderslev Domkirke hosts its traditional "Julemusik for alle pengene" Christmas concerts at 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM.

Both concerts feature performances by Vor Frue Cantori, Haderslev Drengekor and Haderslev Domkirkes Pigekor.

Tickets are available from billetten.dk, with sales opening on 17 November 2026. All ticket proceeds support the choirs and provide Christmas assistance to families in need within the parish.

Julens Musik from 21 to 23 December

In the days leading up to Christmas Eve, Haderslev Domkirke hosts three short concerts, each lasting 25 minutes and offering a different musical take on Christmas.

Enjoy a performance of Christmas music by Slesvigske Musikkorps, conducted by Stig Mærsk.

Tuesday 22 December at 4:30 PM: Julens orgel
