At Knivsbjerg, the highest point in Sønderjylland, you can enjoy a festival experience unlike any other. Stella Polaris is a one-day electronic music festival that invites you to relax, enjoy electronic beats, and spend time with friends and family at Knivsbjerg, north of Aabenraa. Every summer, the festival tours Denmark and is now returning to the Aabenraa area.

In 2025, visitors were able to experience the festival at Knivsbjerg for the first time – and it was a great success.

As the highest point in Sønderjylland, Knivsbjerg provides the perfect setting for the festival. With stunning views overlooking Genner Bugt, the venue offers an ideal backdrop and a truly unique atmosphere.

At the festival site, you will find food stalls, drinks and snack vendors, toilets, and a dedicated children’s area. Located opposite the stage in a quieter part of the festival grounds, the children’s area features bouncy cushions and other activities, while the music can be enjoyed in the background.

It is a good idea to bring a picnic blanket, folding chairs, and perhaps a picnic basket, as seating is otherwise available on the grassy areas of Knivsbjerg.

The festival welcomes visitors of all ages.

Free parking is available in the designated grass parking area at the entrance to Knivsbjerg.

The Stella Polaris programme for 2026 has not yet been announced.
