Swimming in Als Sund in the heart of Sønderborg

Fancy a swim with views across Als Sund? At Sønderborg Harbour Bath, you can take a refreshing dip in one of three pools and enjoy swimming right in the heart of town.

The harbour bath has a large swimming pool, a diving pool and a children's pool. The largest pool measures 25 metres along its longest side, while the children's pool has a solid bottom and is just 30 cm deep.

With room for up to 250 swimmers at a time, it's a great place to enjoy a swim with family or friends.

Winter swimming and sauna

Fancy braving the cold? Sønderborg Harbour Bath is also open during the winter months, when you can combine a dip in the chilly waters of Als Sund with a visit to the sauna.

The sauna is shared by all genders, and swimwear must be worn.

Facilities and access

Changing facilities and toilets are available in the pavilions along the quayside.

Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult, and swimming is at your own risk. Dogs and other animals are not permitted, with the exception of assistance dogs.
