Skulptur uden navn
Bronze sculptor from 1980, mounted on granite. Made by the sculptor and silversmith Søren Georg Jensen (1917-1982), son of the famous silversmith and designer Georg Arthur Jensen.
This sculptor was developed from ”Aurora Septentrionalis”, a sculptor made for The Danish Institute in Rome.
Aurora, sister of Sun and Luna (Moon), personify dawn and in both works you will see references to the rising sun.
A similar sculptor, made in tufa stone, is standing on ”Toldboden” in Copenhagen.
