From Nordborg Resort to Nordborg City

Cycle past the circular bridge with a view of Nordborg Castle and take a detour over Havnbjerg on the way back.

A lovely 18-kilometre bike ride that takes you through small wooded areas along cosy hollow ways (natural tunnels) and along country roads with fields on both sides. Along the way you can choose a detour to the Munkegaard Tractor Museum in Pøl or a visit to Nordborg Church and in Havnbjerg you will find the sculpture ‘Brillebänken’ and Havnbjerg Mill.

Description:
On the northern stretch of the cycle route between Nordborg Resort and Nordborg town, you will pass Havnbjerg Strand along Strandvejen. A coastal stretch where you can enjoy the water views, the fresh sea air and take a dip, weather permitting. Here you will also find a public toilet.

You'll pass Havnbjerg Forest and continue past open fields with coastal views for part of the route. The terrain is mainly flat and only slightly hilly, inviting a tranquil atmosphere with quiet country roads and old farms in the landscape.

On the other part of the route you cycle along the Slotsstien, a scenic route along Nordborg Lake, which is part of Nordals Nature Park. Along the path is a shelter with a small nature playground.

The cycle route is surrounded by beautiful nature and makes for a fantastic cycling experience. It is also possible to fish with a fishing licence in Nordborg Lake.

The bike ride starts/ends at Nordborg Castle, in the heart of Nordborg town. Inside Nordborg town there are also public toilets, the possibility to charge your e-bike, shopping and shopping facilities.

At Nordborg Resort, the cycle route starts/ends at Nordborg Pier right by the water, where you can park your bike and enjoy the view of the water from the pier or eat at the beach café. There is also a playground for children.

On the southern part of the stretch between Nordborg Resort and Nordborg town, cycle a short distance along Nordborgvej before turning onto Ærvej.
