Kliple Mærken

Kliple Mærken is an annual village festival held on the second weekend of June in and around the small village of Kliplev, just south of Aabenraa.

Locals and visitors gather here for a weekend filled with activities, music, and entertainment.

Kliple Mærken is considered Soønderjyllands’s oldest market – offering a large flea market, a funfair, and a horse market.

The festivities begin with a parade through the village, where local associations and school classes take part with colorful floats and costumes. In the large tent at the festival grounds, there’s live music, communal dining, and dancing. For children, there’s a funfair, games, and competitions. You’ll also find food and drink stalls serving local specialties.
