Campfire hut for everyone, with shelters - Kær Vestermark
Campfire hut with outdoor kitchen, integrated rail for manual hoist, water and electricity.
The campfire hut is constructed from sustainable materials and equipped with two shelters that are suitable for people with disabilities. The shelters are equipped with rotating walls and can each accommodate four to five people.
Access is by foot, bike or wheelchair and there is an integrated manual hoist and 220V power outlet for charging an electric wheelchair. The water tap is open during the frost-free period.
The campfire hut is equipped with a fire pit and an outdoor kitchen with a pizza oven and stove. Bring your own pots and pans.
Parking is available at Støvlen, approximately 450 metres away. There is a composting toilet next to the Campfire hut. In addition, there is a disabled toilet at Støvlen or at Naturcenter Sønderborg.
Dogs on leads are allowed. The hut is video monitored and day and/or night stays must be booked in advance. Firewood is available in limited quantities. Wood is delivered twice a week. Bring your own firewood if necessary.
