Blomeskobbel - shelter Fjordterne

Must be booked in advance - mini shelter for max. 3 people, situated in the small forest Blomeskobbel, directly at the hiking route Alsstien. Tenting is allowed.

The shelter is located near a coastal cliff overlooking the Little Belt. The Blomeskobbel forest area is also known for having the largest collection of burial mounds in Sønderjylland.

The shelter is named after a species of tern which, despite its name, also breeds at bogs and lakes in Denmark.

The mini shelter, Fjordterne, can accommodate 3 people and must be booked in advance. A maximum of 2 nights may be spent here, and it is permitted to set up tents.

Please respect nature – keep dogs on a leash, avoid noisy behaviour and please refrain from felling or cutting trees and bushes.

Leave the area clean and tidy – take your rubbish with you or place it in the rubbish bin.

About booking shelters:
When you book a shelter, you get first dibs on that shelter – not the whole place, which others are welcome to use while you're there. The booking is from noon to noon the next day.

You will receive an email from the booking system 10 days before the booked date. Here you must confirm that you still want to use the shelter on the desired day or cancel the booking. If you do not respond to the email, the booking will be automatically cancelled 6 days before the booked date.

Once you have confirmed the booking, you must use the shelter before 8 p.m. on the day, after which the priority right expires and others may use it.

Shelters can be booked 3 months in advance.
