Beach diving at Høruphav
At Høruphav, you will find an ideal diving spot for the family, whether you are interested in snorkelling or bottle diving.
Høruphav offers two different sides of the harbour for diving and snorkelling and is ideal for family dives, among other things. Here you will find barbecue facilities, campfire sites and tent pitches, as well as Sydals' best shopping opportunities and the iconic Baltic Hotel.
The area is suitable for both scuba diving and snorkelling and offers good parking facilities and access to toilets.
As the area is located next to a marina, it is always recommended to use a surface marker when diving and snorkelling. Underwater hunting is permitted in the area.

Diving routes: On the east side, you can both dive and snorkel along the stone pier. Please be aware not to dive past the entrance and exit to the marina at the end of the pier.
The location invites you to explore the water along the coast, where the depth ranges from 2 to 5 metres, depending on how far out you go.
For bottle divers, it is not worthwhile to go beyond a depth of 6 to 8 metres, as the seabed further out is limited due to many years of oxygen depletion in Lillehav.
