My painting practice stems from an inner drive to express my experiences in and of nature in an artistic context. I gained my first experiences as a student at Ribe State Seminary, where my art teacher sent me to Mandø for a few days to develop my skills in painting.

To reproduce moods in the mudflats, I focus on sky, sea, light and the rhythm of the tides.
