If you feel like staying overnight in nature with your family or school group, there are both large shelter sites and tent sites, all of which, except for the Iller Strand Naturlejrplads tent site, can be booked in advance.

5 shelters at Kær Vestermark, each capable of accommodating 4-5 people, and space for setting up 4-5 tents.
Syvstjernen at Gråsten
Forest site in Gråstenskovene. 2.7 km to Gendarmstien. Reserved for groups (min. 15 people) with online booking.
Group camp Vælddam - Høruphav
2 shelters for groups (14 people). 15 metres to Gendarmstien. Must be booked online. Tents are not allowed.
Nøffelskoven-shelter
The shelters can accommodate approximately 30 people, and space must be reserved prior to arrival.
Group camp site "Skelde Kobbel"
Large campsite with space for several groups. 700 metres to Gendarmstien. The site must be booked in advance.
Iller Strand Naturlejrplads
Large tent site directly on Flensborg Fjord and the Leading Quality Trail, Gendarmstien. Reservation not possible.
