Rundemølle

Rundemølle is one of the well-known historic watermills in Southern Jutland, with a history dating back to the year 1200.

It is beautifully situated at the bottom of a valley formed by glaciers. From the mill hill, there is a lovely view across the scenic landscape.

Rundemølle has been carefully reconstructed to reflect its appearance in 1890, including the stately main building from 1875.

The reconstructed mill and the thatched bakery building were completed in 1997.

The charming historic buildings are well worth a visit. Please note, however, that the costume exhibition, ship model exhibition, and the old shop are located on the first floor and are only accessible via fairly narrow staircases, which are not suitable for visitors with reduced mobility.

Visits to Rundemølle can still be arranged by prior appointment with the association’s chairman, Sønnich Sønnichsen, at +45 81 98 97 00.

Museum keys are not loaned out, and visits are always accompanied by a board member and/or a volunteer.

Admission is 25 DKK per person.
