The Fossil Hunting Club in Gram Lergrav - A Treasure Hunt in the Past

Do you love outdoor adventure and are you fascinated by shark teeth and whale fossils? Then the Fossil Hunting Club in Gram Lergrav is for you! Here you get the chance to go paleontology during the winter holidays (week 7).

What is the Fossil Hunting Club?
The club is a community for children and young people from 3rd grade to 16 years, where they explore the secrets of the past together. On a fossil hunt in Gram Lergrav, you search for fossils of sea creatures that lived 10 million years ago. At the museum and laboratory, you'll also examine exciting fossils of many different animals.

Winter holiday programme - Week 7

Join on a fossil hunt during the winter holidays! You can choose between Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Time: 10:00-15:00
Even though winter can be cold, there are still fossils to be found in the clay. The group collects clay from the grave and works together in the lab. Here, the group sets up different stations to examine the smallest fossils - the fascinating microfossils!

The programme is the same for all days and you will have a fun and educational experience.
