Light Houses - art connects
See the exhibition of the German-Danish street art project – shining across borders.
Light Houses is more than just an exhibition: the project creates an artistic platform for intercultural dialogue and collaboration, bringing together professional street artists, young creatives, art educators and organisers on an equal footing to combine creativity, light and exchange – across national borders.
The project is a collaboration between Kunstskolen Sønderborg and the German Nordic Arts Association and is funded by the Interreg Citizens' Project Fund. The works will be exhibited in two locations in August and September 2025 – first at Kunstskolen Sønderborg and then at the famous NORDEN Festival in Schleswig, where they will be a special highlight: the light houses will be impressively illuminated in the evening as part of the NORDEN LIGHTS light art festival at Königswiesen in Germany.
Light Houses – art connects can be seen on repot 2 (2nd floor) in the Multikulturhuset.
The art school is open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and the works can also be viewed during the library's opening hours from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
