Cultural sailing from Dyvig
Skalds, Shieldmaidens and Ship sacrifices - Family trip on the fjord in the wake of the sagas
Bring the whole family on an adventurous expedition in RIB boats along the coasts of Alsace and Sønderjylland - filled with myths, ancient boats and living stories. On this unique cultural and historical expedition, you will visit the three legendary ancient boats: Hjortspringbåden, Nydambåden and Sebbe Als and experience stories about 1000 years of maritime history.
Along the way, children become part of the story as they meet the völva, the norn and the Viking warrior - and try their hand at Iron Age tools and shield wall martial arts. While parents gain archaeological insights and learn about ship sacrifices, myths, legends and crafts - told by dedicated interpreters both on the water and by the ancient boats.
