Drejby Strand Camping
Drejby Strand Camping is located at the southern tip of Als – surrounded by the Lillehav and the Baltic Sea. Here you’ll find tent sites, cabins, and a variety of summer activities – plus a surf spot just outside the door.
Drejby Strand Camping is located at the southern tip of Als, with the Baltic Sea on one side and the Lillehav on the other – right where a small dam leads out to the Kegnæs peninsula.
The site is right by the water with a roughly 500-meter-long sandy beach. The beach faces the Baltic Sea.
Drejby Strand Camping provides pitches for almost every need – whether you have a caravan, camper, or tent. It is possible to choose pitches with sea views or standard pitches close to the playground. Pitches right on the beach are legally reserved for tents and smaller vehicles. In addition to camping, the site offers cabins in different price categories and holiday apartments.
During the high season, a range of activities is offered for both young and old. This includes an outdoor water park with a heated pool and a large water slide, a children’s pool, and a small slide for the very young. The activity program also includes aerobics and water gymnastics. There are several sessions per week of campfire bread baking and football lessons.
There are two play areas – a playground for the little ones and a larger area with football and multi-purpose courts as well as a bouncy castle for the older kids. If the weather turns rainy, there is also an indoor playroom for the youngest.
The campsite has its own mini-golf course and a nice Riceteria with delicious coffee, cake, various small dishes, and ice cream.
The waters between Als and Kegnæs are quite calm near the dam and therefore perfect for outdoor activities. Right next to the campsite, the surf school Surfers Paradise is located, where it is possible to book windsurfing and kitesurfing lessons.
