Shelters in Sønderborg

Book free accommodation in one of our two shelters in the centre of the island of Als.

Small site with fireplace and a bench. Laying directly at the coast near the forest Augustenborg Skov. Shelter for 4 people. Reservations are not possible.

Shelter at bridle route, Rideruten Als, with room for 6 people. Tents are allowed and it is possible to borrow a bathroom.

2 shelters at Kær Vestermark, each with space for 4-5 people, share a campfire site. Tenting is not allowed.

5 shelters at Kær Vestermark, each capable of accommodating 4-5 people, and space for setting up 4-5 tents.

Shelter and tent site with horse enclosure located at the bridle route, Rideruten Als and on the cycling or hiking tour in Naturpark Nordals.

Shelter in overnight enclosure near the bridle route, Rideruten Als. Must be booked before arrival; tents are not allowed.

Shelter with room for 4 people, directly next to the Alsstien hiking trail. Reservations are not possible and tents are not allowed.

Rinkenæshus Camping is situated only 2 km from the Gendarme Path - the first quality hiking trail in Denmark.

Private shelter for 6 people, near the coast and the Bridle Route Als. Must be booked with the owner. Tents are allowed.

Located in Nørreskoven Als, just 50 metres from Alsstien and close to the coast. Reservations are not possible.

Shelter for approx. 4 people, 50 metres from the Gendarmstien trail. Reservations/bookings are not possible. No tents allowed – either at the shelter or in the park.

Shelter for approx. 4 people, close to Sundevedstien. Reservations are not possible and it is not permitted to set up tents on the site.

Shelter and tent site directly at Gendarmstien and near Dybbøl Banke. Reservations are not possible.

Shelter with room for 4 people, located near the coast just 25 metres from the Gendarmstien trail. Tenting is permitted on the site. Reservations are not possible.

Shelter for 4 people by a lake close to Broager town with 25 metres to Gendarmstien. Reservations are not possible and camping is not permitted.

Located in a coastal area just 50 metres from the Gendarmstien trail. Suitable for up to 4 people. Reservations are not possible. Tents are allowed.

Shelter for 4 people in forest Nørreskoven Als, close to Alsstien. Reservations is not possible; tenting is subject to the rules for Teltning i det fri.

Shelter near Rinkenæs Forfyr and directly at Gendarmstien. Reservations are not possible, and tenting on the site is not allowed.

Smaller shelter in a small forest, 100 metres from the Alsstien hiking trail. Booking is not possible and tenting is not allowed.

Shelter located in the forest approx. 50 metres from Alsstien. Booking is not possible and tenting is not allowed.

The shelter in Nørreskoven Als can be booked by horse riders, cyclists and hikers. Distance  and to Als Bridle Route: 650 metres.

In the village of Tandslet, next to an open field, you will find 2 shelters with a campfire place and access to a toilet and drinking water.

Unique shelter, just 40 metres from the LQT quality hiking trail Gendarmstien, with room for 4 people and a built-in fireplace for genuine Danish hygge.
