Aabenraa Ice-skating rink
The ice skating-rink in Aabenraa is open from the beginning of December to the middle of February. The ice rink is free to use for everyone.
On December 1, 2023, the ice skating-rink in the Reunification Garden reopens! The ice rink not only reopens but is also inaugurated on Friday, December 1, 2023.
For the 2023/24 season, the ice rink will be completely ice-free, offering a new sustainable alternative to the traditional ice rink.
Traditionally, the winter months transform the Reunification Garden into an ice rink. The ice rink is generally open from early December to mid-February, with the last day of the 2023/24 season being February 18, 2024.
The size of the ice rink is approximately 700 m2, making it one of the largest ice-free ice rinks in Europe.
Arena Aabenraa is responsible for operating the ice rink, including skate rental and blade sharpening.
