During your visit in Sønderjylland you might need a Covid 19 test.
Presently you must have a negative test taken within in the last 72 hours if you wish to visit an indoor restaurant, attraction and so on.
If you click on the map or HERE you find a list of all test sites in Denmark. You can find the site closest to you by zooming in on the map or by writing the name of the town you wish to be tested in below the map.
If you are planning to visit a restaurant or attraction on the same day or day after your test, we recommend that you take a Rapid test, as you get the result quickly. You cannot make an appointment for a rapid test, you simply show up. Usually, the queue is shortest between Noon and 2 pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
When you show up you need to bring your mobile phone and ID. You will get a temporary CPR number (the Danish ID number) and a text message with instructions on how to view your result.
Unfortunately, part of the site is only in Danish. Below you find a translation of the most important words.
PCR = Covid 19 test taken in your throat. You can usually see your results in 24-48 hours.
Hurtigtest: Rapid antigen test taken in your nose. Results are available in 15 minutes.
